OUR PRINCIPAL

Dear Westhaven Families,

I am both humbled and honored to

have the opportunity to serve as

Principal of Westhaven. As principal

of Westhaven it is my pledge to

model, inspire, challenge, support

and encourage every member of the

Westhaven community, in a manner

that will not only positively impact

student achievement but add value

to the community. Westhaven

Elementary School has the

unwavering drive to prepare

students to be college & career

ready, equip them to graduate on

time and prepare them to enroll in

post-secondary opportunities.

I believe that I must be a visionary and supportive leader. I aspire to be a great role model by fostering an attitude of compassion, unwavering drive, honesty, and transparency. I believe that my leadership abilities will enable Westhaven to improve instruction, thus impact student achievement by creating a culture of access and equity. I believe that education is the catalyst that changes the trajectory of one’s life. I believe that school should be intellectually challenging, motivating, captivating, safe and supportive of both teachers and students regardless of their needs. Finally, I ask that we partner this school year in an effort to achieve our goals. Thanks in advance for working with us in our Relentless Pursuit of Excellence.
